Hi there,

As an organizer with Swing Left, I saw firsthand that where we invested time and money in 2024, Democrats did better. Grassroots action matters – we just need more, and we need it sooner.

Winning back Democratic control of the House in 2026 is essential and it’s achievable – if we get started early. You can play a critical role now by bringing together friends and neighbors in your community for a Win Elections, Rebuild Democracy gathering to connect, share Swing Left’s [3 to Win]([link removed]) strategy, and make an action plan.

We want members across the country to be able to attend a Win Elections, Rebuild Democracy gathering in person, so we’re hoping to have 100 of these gatherings scheduled in time for Trump's 100th day in office on April 30th. [To meet our goal, we need 37 more events – can you step up to host a gathering in your community?]([link removed])

Hosting a gathering is simple and straightforward:

- As a host, you’ll choose a date/time and the venue (likely your home!), and invite folks in your network to join you. You might end up with five friends gathering at a coffee shop, 15 neighbors in your living room, or 30 people meeting up at the local library—no matter what, that’s a success.

- It’ll be your choice if you want to advertise your event publicly to like-minded volunteers in your community, or keep it private for just folks you already know.

- Swing Left will provide a comprehensive host guide, complete with tips for recruitment, a customizable slide presentation, talking points, and printable handouts. The slide presentation will cover Swing Left’s strategy for winning back the House in 2026, the first slate of swing districts we’re targeting, and clear recommendations for attendees to take action – including adopting a flippable district, working together to talk to volunteers and voters in the community, or raising money to flip a seat.

[If you’re ready to commit, you can sign up here to host a gathering and get everything you need to get started and set you up for success]([link removed]).

I’m also offering an optional training session to make sure you can get any questions answered ahead of time.

You can sign up for the host training on Friday, April 18th at 4:00pm ET / 1:00pm PT or Wednesday, April 23rd at 8:00pm ET / 5:00pm PT.
