The Texas House has passed school choice legislation—a major victory for
families, for education freedom, and foreveryone who stood up and fought back.

This didn’t happen by accident. It happened because Accuracy in Media and our
supporters exposed the rot inside public schools andput real pressure on
lawmakers to act.



We partnered with education champions like Riley Gaines to highlight
lawbreaking in districts likeCoppell ISD, where our investigations uncovered
violations of the state’s CRT ban.Those exposures triggered legal action from
the Texas Attorney General.



But exposing the truth wasn’t enough.



What made the difference? Making the politicians afraid of the voters.



Last year, school choice failed by just a few votes. So we went to work:

We supported primary challenges against school choice opponents.


Rep. Gary VanDeaver barely held his seat—and his close call sent a message.


Now, school choice is on the verge of becoming law.
