Friends,

Humility isn't a feeling easily expressed with words. Neither is gratitude. But today, I feel both deeply. I am humbled by the encouragement I have received from so many Granite Staters to consider a run for the United States Senate. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting your trust in me.

After a period of reflection, I have decided to seek re-election to the United States House of Representatives.

This is a moment of profound crisis and challenge in our country as the President of the United States leads a cruel assault on the basic foundations of our Constitutional order and, in many cases, basic human decency. So, for me, the question boils down to this: How can I best serve this state and our country in this pivotal moment?

First, by doing the job I hold right now – a job I’ve truly loved doing every day for the past 104 days – to the best of my ability. That means devoting everything I’ve got to delivering for the people of the Second District and standing up to the cascading outrages and cruelties of the Trump Administration.

Second, by helping to secure a Democratic majority in the United States House of Representatives on November 3, 2026. Taking back the House is the most consequential thing we can do to check the excesses of President Trump and chart the path forward for New Hampshire and America.

To address the urgent mission at hand, we must unite in a common cause and in relentless defense of the promise and values on which our great country was founded.
