A week ago, Attorney General Bill Barr ordered law enforcement to attack peaceful protesters in front of the White House — all to clear them out of the way for Donald Trump’s photo op.

It’s unacceptable that Barr violated protesters’ First Amendment rights as they powerfully and peacefully raised their voices and stood up to police brutality, racism, white supremacy, and anti-Blackness. And this is far from the first time he has put the interests of this president before the rule of law. He must be held accountable.

From dropping the case against self-admitted criminal and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn to last week’s unleashing of tear gas, rubber bullets, and flash bangs on protesters — Barr has made it abundantly clear that he will stop at nothing to support the president’s corrupt agenda.
