LEGISLATIVE UPDATE: It is Week 6 out of the 9 week session. Committee meetings are winding down and Legislators are shifting into Budget mode. A lot of the House and Senate bills will die over the next couple of weeks if they have not been heard in committees. The bills that are heading to their last one or two committees will be advancing in the last days. Then the Representatives and Senators will be voting on their respective floors to advance legislation to the Governor’s desk.

There were 3 versions of the Budget released, the House, the Senate, and the Governor. Over the next few weeks there will be many meetings and negotiations for all three to come together.
