I'm not the type of person that sits back and lets a situation get worse. I face problems head-on.
I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to Nevada County to raise my two boys. When I got here, it was saddening to see such a beautiful area with amazing people being neglected and outright ignored by their elected officials.
I ran for Supervisor of Nevada County's District 1 because I wanted to make a difference, for our environment, for our housing supply, and for our access to broadband. Thanks to this common-sense agenda, I flipped a seat from red to blue before, and I'm running to do that again.
John, I won a tough race with a bipartisan coalition because voters chose a proven problem solver with a track record of getting things done.
EMILYs List says our district is a "key 2026 flip target," and this race is crucial to taking back Congress and getting our nation back on track.
With Trump (and Elon!) in the White House, recent elections have shown that every district is in play, even those in extremely red areas. It's going to take a broad grassroots coalition to flip this seat, but I know that together, we can stop the toxic Washington politics and elect a tried-and-true problem solver to Congress.
