Friends,
I write to share updates with you on my recent Congressional work.
My bill, The No Rogue Rulings Act of 2025, to stop activist judges, recently passed the House of Representatives and is now poised for Senate consideration. The White House supports my bill and is ready to sign it into law once it passes through the Senate.
I voted with my colleagues in the House to approve 7 bills for veterans, including changes designed to make the disability claims process easier to navigate and a bill to allow more flexibility in the use of Montgomery GI bill education benefits.
I also voted for the SAVE Act, a common-sense policy which would require states to remove non-citizens from voter rolls and require proof of citizenship to register to vote in an election.
In the District, I participated in a community roundtable with business owners and residents from Lakeside. And, I recognized local community leaders for their tremendous service all across the district.
Wishing all who celebrate a meaningful Passover and Happy Easter this weekend.
As always, it is an honor to serve as your representative in Congress. For more information, please visit www.issa.house.gov.
Respectfully,
Darrell Issa Member of Congress
