Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts have been a major concern for America’s colleges. Parents and grandparents are concerned about not knowing how to protect their children and grandchildren from being exposed to these efforts. Many of us want to do something about it but aren’t sure how.
That’s why we sat down with Dr. Stephen Porter, a professor of Higher Education at North Carolina State University, who has been on the frontlines of this DEI battle. After the university targeted him for referring to an academic conference on his blog as a “woke joke,” he filed a federal civil rights lawsuit against the university.
