Last week, the Republican House majority passed their No Rogue Rulings Act (NORRA), a Trump-endorsed bill that would cripple judges’s ability to stop illegal, unconstitutional government actions that would inflict irreparable harm on people across the country.
Not a single Democrat voted for this dangerous bill to kneecap federal judges, but it passed the House with 219 Republicans voting in favor.
This legislation is a gross attack on the foundational system of checks and balances in our country. It brings us one step closer to dismantling our democracy for the benefit of one man and his extreme agenda.

Far-right Republicans are furious that district court judges have used their legitimate authority of judicial review to block Trump’s agenda when it violates the law. They’re showing that they are committed to destroying the Constitution itself for the sake of advancing the MAGA agenda.
Judges have intervened to block the most dangerous and corrupt initiatives of the Trump regime – including the mass deportation of individuals without due process to a prison camp in El Salvador, federal retaliation against law firms that Trump sees as enemies, and the illegal mass firings of countless government employees.
Though the No Rogue Rulings Act has passed the House, we can still stop it from reaching Trump’s desk and becoming law — but it’s going to take a groundswell of public pressure to do it.
