He is risen, friends! Easter is my favorite holiday for a billion reasons including weather, Easter hymns, lilies, yellow, pink and purple, and honey ham. But mostly, it’s my favorite holiday because it testifies to everything I believe most strongly about. Easter doesn’t ask questions, it gives answers. Most importantly, it solves problems, including my biggest problem — me.

To think there’s a holiday that includes both malted milk eggs and the solution to my pride, fear, control issues and problem relationships is almost too much to take in. But it’s true. Jesus paid the penalty for my sin and gave me His perfect record so I can forever be in unbroken relationship with Him and the Father. That’s good news.
