John—

You may have just received a letter from me in the mail—but I wanted to follow up with some urgent news.

The SAVE Act—a dangerous voter suppression bill that would make it harder for women, young people, and LGBTQ+ people to vote—just passed in the U.S. House. Now, the Senate is poised to vote on it in the coming weeks. Here in Maine, additional efforts are underway to gut absentee voting and same-day registration, limiting your access to the ballot.

Maine Conservation Voters (MCV) is fighting back—defending democracy and advancing bold climate solutions. But they need your help to do it.

Will you chip in $35 or more today to help protect voting rights and climate progress in Maine?

MCV is not standing on the sidelines. The staff is actively meeting with our congressional delegation and mobilizing Mainers to ensure every eligible voter can exercise their right at the ballot box. Their efforts are critical right now—this legislation jeopardizes the hard-won rights that support our democratic processes and our commitment to a sustainable future.

With the 2026 elections on the horizon, we must act now. Please join me in supporting MCV’s critical work today. [[link removed]]

Together, we can make sure every eligible Mainer can access the ballot—and that pro-environment voices are heard.

Thank you for standing with us.

With gratitude,
Katie Mae Simpson
