John,
LGBTQ+ rights are facing extreme opposition nationwide. More than 500 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been introduced across the country in the past year alone, many targeting transgender people, LGBTQ+ youth, and inclusive education. Transphobia is running rampant in politics and our society, and values we hold dear are being targeted. We are under attack.
But we are the solution we need, and a network of LGBTQ+ candidates, leaders, and elected officials are on the frontlines protecting our rights and dignity.
You are a key part of this movement, and we want you in the room with us. Come support our candidates and leaders doing critical work to protect our rights by joining LGBTQ+ Victory Fund and powerful political LGBTQ+ leaders at our 2025 National Champagne Brunch!

LGBTQ+ political trailblazers like Tammy Baldwin, Sarah McBride, and Mark Takano will join our new President & CEO Evan Low for an inspiring event to share insights and plans on how we can come together and fight for our rights.
They’ll be joined by a powerhouse slate of former Victory Fund candidates who are now breaking barriers in public office. Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel, the first out LGBTQ+ person elected statewide in Michigan, and U.S. Representative Chris Pappas, the first out LGBTQ+ person to represent New Hampshire in Congress, will take the stage.
Joining them are U.S. Congresswoman Emily Randall, the first out LGBTQ+ Latina elected to Congress; Florida State Senator Shevrin Jones, the first out LGBTQ+ person in the Florida Senate; and Georgia State Representative Sam Park, the first out gay man elected to the Georgia legislature.
Also featured are Aime Wichtendahl, Iowa’s first out transgender elected official, and Elias Diaz, the first out LGBTQ+ person elected to Eagle Pass City Council in Texas!
And last but certainly not least, California Attorney General Rob Bonta, a staunch ally and champion for equality, Charlotte Clymer, a prominent writer, transgender advocate and Victory Fund board member, and Speaker of the Rhode Island House of Representatives Joe Shekarchi will also be on stage to help us chart the path forward and remind us what’s at stake!
These champions of equality need your support as they continue to battle LGBTQ+ oppression in the halls of power. Come join us on April 27th in Washington, D.C. to celebrate their impactful work and unite to protect our communities from the onslaught of hate.
See you there,
Evan Low
