What I've witnessed is alarming — GOP lawmakers pushing through harmful bills without public input and even criminalizing peaceful protests. Meanwhile, they refuse to answer Kentuckians' legitimate questions about tariffs, Medicaid, and Social Security.

Kentucky Republicans are attacking our neighbors while undermining transparency and accountability. When Republicans turn 4-page bills into 107 pages with just a few hours notice, or when they give legislative leaders the power to decide who gets arrested at the Capitol, they're undermining the very foundation of our democracy — the democracy our ancestors fought so hard for.
