Today, Rob Bonta sued the Trump Administration over its illegal use of
power to impose tariffs that threaten California’s economy, people, and
small businesses. Without authorization from Congress, the Trump
Administration directed Homeland Security and Customs and Border Patrol to
implement and enforce the unlawful tariffs.

Trump is acting like he’s above the law—he isn’t. It’s time to reign him
in, restore stability to the economy, and uphold the U.S. Constitution.

California is the fifth largest economy in the world, and the country’s
largest importer and second-largest exporter. These chaotic and unlawful
tariffs threaten all Californians.

Trade policy is no place for political games—and Rob won’t stand by while
the Trump Administration takes unlawful actions that hurt our businesses,
