New Interactive Dashboard Tracks Environmental and Health Monitoring

The *Los Angeles County Department of Public Health* has launched an interactive online dashboard [ [link removed] ] that provides the public with access to environmental and health monitoring data collected in response to the January 2025 wildfires.

*This dashboard* [ [link removed] ] offers a visual overview of monitoring locations across Los Angeles County, including areas where assessments are being conducted for air, surface, water, and human health impacts.

Moving Forward on Debris Removal

With over 10,000 properties opting in to the government-run debris removal program, an essential recovery operation of astounding proportions is well underway.

Residents with questions about the debris removal program can get answers:

Property owners who opted out of the government-run program, choosing to hire private contractors for fire debris removal, can receive an Eaton and Palisades Fire Debris Removal permit via the County’s EPIC-LA system [ [link removed] ]. This permit allows home and business owners—and their authorized private contractors—to manage their own debris removal efforts while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal safety and environmental standards. Economic Injury Disaster Loans Available

*Small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations* located in a declared disaster area and which have suffered substantial economic injury may be eligible for a Small Business Administration *Economic Injury Disaster Loan*.
