Waterkeeper Groups Achieve Settlement with EPA On Drinking Water Safety

Waterkeeper Alliance, Waterkeepers Chesapeake, and California Coastkeeper Alliance achieved a settlement agreement in federal court requiring EPA to propose revised regulations for existing and emerging contaminants, resolving a 2019 suit filed under the Safe Drinking Water Act.

Since the COVID-19 lockdown, Gomti River Waterkeeper, Venkatesh Dutta has noticed a remarkable improvement in the water quality of the Ganga Basin. Quarantine's "new normal" will be short-lived, and we must find ways to continue the restoration of our rivers.

Southern Oregon Advocates Challenge of Federal Approval of Jordan Cove LNG

Waterkeeper Alliance joined Rogue Riverkeeper, Southern Oregon environmental organizations, and impacted landowners in challenging the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's approval of the Jordan Cove LNG pipeline.
