Dear John,
Wildlands Network is not immune from the disruption that has been caused by funding freezes and staff layoffs within the U.S. government.
Together, we forged partnerships with U.S. federal agencies to make significant progress toward wildlife-friendly roads, recovery of jaguar and red wolves, and trans-boundary conservation, to name just a few. The current situation presents new challenges to achieving these outcomes.
Nevertheless, we remain committed to reconnecting, restoring, and rewilding North America. Our priorities are unchanged, and our focus is unwavering.
Our strength and the foundation of our past and future success lies in relationships across borders and boundaries. Wildlands Network has always led the way in envisioning and catalyzing large-landscape conservation.
Today, this leadership is more important than ever. And our team is stepping up, with a science-backed approach to sustain connectivity across all borders, including in the most challenging region: the U.S.-Mexico Borderlands.
Hear updates from the field below, including how we’re keeping wildlife moving across the border, creating a new jaguar corridor to the U.S., and safeguarding the unparalleled natural treasures of Mexico.
Thank you for joining us in uniting around transnational conservation efforts. A continental conservation community is Nature’s best hope.
For our future,
