Donald Trump poses an unprecedented threat to our democracy, engaging in multiple abuses of power since the start of his second term. He blatantly disregards our system of checks and balances by defying funding decisions made by Congress and ignoring orders from the judiciary branch.
Trump is not a monarch. He is beholden to the Constitution, as is Congress. If we are to preserve our democracy for the people, Congress must investigate and, if necessary, remove a corrupt executive from office.
