In just four months, Donald Trump has gutted the federal government, thrown the economy into chaos, and brought our nation to the cusp of a constitutional crisis — all with the rubber-stamping of Washington insiders like Republican Senator Joni Ernst.
Ernst and the rest of her GOP colleagues have stood by and done nothing as Trump tramples the Constitution and she has even participated in the gutting of the institutions that keep us safe through her work with DOGE.
It’s time to replace Ernst with Nathan Sage, an up-and-coming Democratic leader who will fight to defend our Constitution and for American working families.
Nathan Sage has done it all; he’s served our country in the United States Marines, served his community as the executive director of the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and worked as a mechanic and radio host, all the while helping raise his two kids.
Now he’s going to serve our nation from the United States Senate, replacing an out-of-touch and Trump-loyal Joni Ernst with a Main Street man who can connect with everyday working Americans because he is one. “There’s a war at home, and we’re losing…those in power don’t give a damn. I’m fighting for a Democratic Party that people like me will actually want to be a part of!” says Sage in his campaign launch video.
It’s time for new blood in the United States Senate, and an end to the cowardice and cronyism of people like Joni Ernst and her GOP colleagues that allow Trump to run roughshod over our democracy.
