You probably know at least one Trump voter who’s singing a different tune these days.

Some admit it in private, some openly admit they regret the choice they made in November. It’s not quite a movement yet, but with every deranged, damaging decision Trump makes (and boy, does he make a lot of ‘em), this group gets bigger and more vocal.

In order to turn the tide against Trump, we need to speak directly to this group of voters. We need to lay out the lies Trump sold them and the consequences of his reckless decisions. Most importantly, we need them to see that Democrats aren’t deep-state devil worshippers or whatever else Trump’s propagandists claim.

That’s why I’m heading into deep red districts to speak candidly with voters whose own representatives can’t be bothered to show up. We had our inaugural Tough Conversations in Dixon and Carterville over the weekend, and I can’t wait to hit the road for the next one.
