Hi John,
GOOD NEWS: Canadians don’t believe Mark Carney’s claim that a hidden carbon on business won’t cost them personally.
Hundreds of CTF supporters like you pitched in for a national poll asking Canadians who they think ultimately pays the cost of industrial carbon taxes and here are the results:
- 44 per cent say most of the cost is passed on to consumers
- 26 per cent say some of the cost is passed on to consumers
- 9 per cent say businesses pay most of the cost
- 21 per cent don’t know
And the media jumped on the poll.
“Carbon taxes on businesses still make life more expensive, Canadians say,” was the headline that ran in the Toronto Sun.
The poll happened because hundreds of taxpayers took action after signing the petition to stop the hidden carbon tax on business.
This is YOUR chance to join the fight and sign the PETITION to stop hidden carbon taxes on business.
Will you sign the PETITION to fight the hidden carbon tax on business?
We, the undersigned, call on the government to reverse the capital gains tax hike.
