Dear John,

FUTURES has been working to engage men to end violence for more than 20 years. One of our recent initiatives, CATAPULT:
Campus Action, inspires men on college campuses to build a future free from violence by challenging harmful relationship norms, fostering healthier relationships, and creating a safer, more welcoming environment for all students.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. If you are working with college-aged men, we have some resources for you.
  • This College Campus Engaging Men Toolkit includes resources for on and off campus to encourage critical conversations about how to cultivate healthier versions of manhood.
  • Join our campus collaborative, a monthly, cross-campus meetup space where you will strategize, learn, and connect with others on approaches for engaging men.
  • Download our Sexual Assault Awareness Month social media toolkit and start posting about what men can do this month.
  • Attend CATAPULT’s Summer Symposium in San Francisco June 11-12 with other campus leaders, researchers, and changemakers all passionate about engaging men on campus to create lasting impact and healthier campus communities for all.

For more Sexual Assault Awareness Month resources, including for parents, teens, healthcare professionals and educators, visit the FUTURE’s website.

If you are someone you know needs support, you can call the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 800-656-HOPE.

Thank you for your continued work to end sexual assault. If you have any questions about CATAPULT or any of our resources or training, please reach out.

Regards,

Brian O’Connor; VP, Public Education Campaigns & Programs and
