Dear Friend,

In last night's debate, Anthony Albanese tried to convince Australians things are going well.

He’s out of touch. Under Labor:

- Australia has had the biggest fall in living standards in the developed world.
- 30,000 small businesses have become insolvent – the biggest number on record.
- Australia’s core inflation has been higher on average than any major developed economy.
Albanese talked about the housing shortage, ignoring the fact Labor brought a million people into Australia in two years, which is 70 percent more than in any other two-year period.

He talked about energy, ignoring his promise that power prices would fall by $275.

Since then, electricity and gas prices have risen by over 30 percent.

Peter Dutton was up front about these issues. The Liberals have a plan to address them.

The Liberals will deliver immediate cost of living relief and have a long-term plan.

We will reduce the petrol tax by 25 cents per litre and deliver up to $1,200 of tax relief for low-and-middle income earners.

We will deliver a stronger economy with lower inflation, by reining in wasteful spending, lowering energy costs and supporting small businesses.

To address housing affordability, we will unlock supply (investing in infrastructure and boosting our local construction workforce); ease demand (including a two-year ban on foreign investors); and make interest payments on new homes for first home buyers tax deductible for five years.

With your support, we will get Australia back on track.
