Mahmoud Khalil. Rumeysa Ozturk. Yunseo Chung. These are the names of just
3 of the students who have been illegally abducted from their homes and
off the street and jailed for deportation by ICE for expressing
pro-Palestinian views.(1)

This is not immigration enforcement, it is political punishment and an
assault on all of our rights and freedoms. These students joined legal,
peaceful protests in order to express their views. And now, the Trump
administration is trying to deport them, despite failure to prove that
they have broken any laws.(2)

that Congress take immediate action to stop this latest attack on
immigrants?

The Trump administration is claiming that this is part of its effort to
fight antisemitism.(3) But a growing number of Jewish groups have called
out the administration for exploiting the problem of antisemitism for its
own political purposes and condemned these arrests as a dangerous attack
on constitutional rights that undermine all of our safety.(4)

And the Trump administration isn't stopping with these students -- Trump
has already floated the idea of deporting American citizens.(5)

Congress must take action to protect all Americans now, before it’s too
late. That’s why we’re calling on Congress to:

* Call the heads of DHS, ICE, and CBP to testify before Congress.
* Launch an investigation into politically motivated arrests and visa
revocations.
* Demand the release of students and activists being held for political
reasons.
