Rep. Summer Lee and I have introduced the Abolish Super PACs Act, a bill that would effectively eliminate super PACs in federal elections.

Over $4.4 billion spent in last year’s federal elections came from super PACs and dark money. This record is broken year after year, silencing Americans and corrupting our democracy. If we want real change in Washington, we need to get dark money out of the picture.

I’ve never taken a dime of PAC or lobbyist money and I never will. When I was first elected, I co-founded the No PAC Caucus and introduced a bill to ban all PAC and lobbyist money from Congress because I firmly believe that our government should work for the people, NOT special interests.
