Good news: Medicare for All legislation is being reintroduced in the U.S.
House and Senate in less than two weeks from today.

Bad news: Your member of Congress isn’t a cosponsor… yet!

Today, we’re driving calls to Democratic representatives urging them to
listen to the majority of Americans who want universal, single-payer
health care and sign on to be original cosponsors of this legislation that
would do just that. Every Democrat in Congress should support this bill
for health care justice.

Take a moment to call your representative and tell them: health care is a
human right — it’s time to become an original cosponsor of Medicare for
All! Use our hotline 202-858-1717 and feel free to follow our short
script:

Hi, my name is _______, and I'm calling from Philadelphia. I'm
calling to urge [NAME] to cosponsor the Medicare for All Act when it is
reintroduced in Congress on April 29. Health care is a human right that
must be guaranteed for all – and Medicare for All is the only policy
solution that will achieve guaranteed health care for all people. Will
they commit to being an original cosponsor on the bill? Thank you.
