Dear John,
This Resurrection week, I am reminded of this Scripture passage: "But the angel said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here, for he has risen, as he said" (Matthew 28:5-6 ESV).
Good Friday was one of the darkest days in human history, as God poured out His wrath on the sin of humanity. But Resurrection Sunday was God's gift to the world, changing the course of history and providing eternal life to all who believe.
Oh, what hope we have in our risen Savior!
It is this same hope that guides Family Research Council's distinctive mission of advancing biblical truth to impact public policy and the culture.
This year, as believers celebrated and worshiped the Lord on Palm Sunday, we received a pleasant surprise from the President of the United States.
One week ahead of Resurrection Sunday, President Trump released an official statement explicitly praising our Lord by name,
"This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ -- the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of heaven for all of humanity."
What a difference an election makes!
Under the previous administration this climactic holiday was desecrated when Biden and Harris proclaimed Resurrection Sunday, "Transgender Day of Visibility."
While this is a welcome change, it does not mean our country has arrived.
For decades, you and I have seen the moral decay in our nation increase while morality and Christian values have been in decline. The lies promoted by the prevailing secular culture have left people broken, angry, hurt, and confused.
How do you and I bring hope and spiritual renewal to our culture?
The answer starts with prayer, repentance, obedience, and courageous action.
Thanks to your support, FRC is leading the nation in prayer events and initiatives that gather faith leaders, members of Congress, and believers to intercede for our country.
Will you consider a gift to serve as a prophetic voice in our nation's capital, pointing our leaders back to God?
PARTNER WITH FRC
Thankfully, there are positive signs of spiritual renewal in America. While the influence of Christianity has been steadily declining over the years, a new Pew Research Center study released data indicating that the decrease is stabilizing, at least temporarily.
This plateau in our nation's spiritual decline is encouraging news, but the study also revealed that younger Americans between 18 and 24 are least likely to be religious and embrace Christianity.
Even against the backdrop of spiritual revival breaking out on college campuses, the Pew study reminds us of the urgency to proclaim God's truth to every generation so that hearts and minds will be changed.
You and I know political winds can change in an instant. So, we must have a country rooted in God's Word to bring about a deeper transformation that changes the hearts and minds of Americans, bringing the eternal hope of Jesus Christ.
As Rabbi Jonathan Cahn said at the 2025 National Gathering for Prayer and Repentance:
"...if we change the government but do not change the people, the unchanged people will change the government back. If we turn the laws, but we don't turn the hearts, then the unturned hearts will turn the laws back again."
You and I can't let that happen.
Policy is downstream from culture, and culture is downstream from the church. That's why FRC is focused on strengthening the church and discipling believers with a biblical worldview to impact their communities through our Center for Biblical Worldview, Association of Churches and Ministries, Stand on the Word devotionals and resources, and more.
Will you join me in diligently working to bring spiritual renewal to our nation?
I STAND WITH FRC
Equipping Americans with a biblical worldview to champion faith, family, and freedom in public policy and the culture is the kind of impact you make with your financial contribution.
John, thank you for standing with FRC to equip Christians to make disciples and advance a biblical worldview.
Hope for our nation is found solely in God and a revival of His truth.
As you and I pray for spiritual revival and renewal to sweep across our nation, let us ask God how He wants to use each one of us to advance the truth and hope of the Gospel in our culture. Take heart, God is on the move -- and let's join Him!
