Endorsement: Stand with Supervisor Joel Engardio

SF YIMBY proudly endorses the Stand With Joel campaign, opposing the attempted recall of District 4 Supervisor, Joel Engardio. When asking SF YIMBY members on endorsement, the results were unequivocal: 98 percent voted to support the Supervisor against the recall campaign. Supervisor Engardio has supported important housing projects and legislation such as:

Voted for the housing element, a critical step to building more homes in the city
199 Affordable housing units for seniors at 1234 Great Highway
Affordable housing at 2550 Irving
Wrote legislation to allow lot mergers
Voted against downzoning Jackson Square
