The winner of the 2018 Zepick Modern Opera Competition, Mr. Brewster’s Invigorating Invention is a fun, musical journey through the history and science of the kaleidoscope. A unique opera experience combining art and science for children young and old!

Join us for a FREE day of family fun at Exploration Place’s Kaleidoscope event!
On May 10th, from 10am to 2pm, you can build your own kaleidoscope, add your mark to a giant chalk canvas, get your face painted, grab a snack from the food trucks, and explore a GIANT kaleidoscope!

The highlight of the day is a performance by Opera Kansas of Mr. Brewster’s Invigorating Invention — a fun and imaginative show created especially for kids.
