MAJOR VICTORY FOR LAKE COUNTY AND CENTRAL FLORIDA!

The City of Orlando has
officially retracted its sanctuary city policy after we exposed their actions last week.

In a letter to Florida’s Attorney General, Mayor Buddy Dyer confirmed that Orlando will now support federal immigration law enforcement in cooperation with ICE, reversing their previous stance.

They’ve also terminated their 287(g) Task Force Model agreement and are training their officers to comply with both federal and state laws.

This is a huge win for our communities and the rule of law! It ensures that illegal immigration policies won’t undermine the safety and integrity of our region.

However, I will be closely monitoring the implementation of this policy change to ensure full compliance by local officials and law enforcement.
