What's New on the Website  

Based directly on your input during events, counseling calls, website interactions, social media engagements, survey responses, and interviews, the new TRS website offers:  

• A streamlined homepage: When you visit https://www.trs.texas.gov, important member tools are available directly on the homepage, including upcoming pension check mail and direct deposit dates, easy entry to the MyTRS member portal, links to calculators and tools for planning your retirement, and quick access to TRS health benefit information.   

• Advanced search functionality: Using the search tool bar icon (🔍) in the upper right of all pages, you can search for exactly what you need and filter results by topic, date, resource type, and more.   

• Optimized document submission: Not only can you search for the forms you need in a centralized location, you can also submit forms and documents digitally to TRS through an improved forms upload tool.  

• Consolidated events calendar: Discover TRS events in your area with a searchable calendar featuring topic- and location-based filtering.   

• Enhanced learning resources: Navigate expanded publication and video libraries with categorized content, search and filter capabilities, and related resources.  

• More interactivity: Interact with content to personalize results for your needs. For example, a new TRS-covered employer map lets you find and learn about TRS employers in your area.   

• A mobile friendly experience: We know you’re busy and on the go. All these features can be accessed from any device – the entire site has been rebuilt with mobile users in mind.
