This week, House Democrats and Republicans, along with the National Republican Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, have released their Q1 fundraising numbers.

The main takeaway? Republicans outraised Democrats almost across the board.

The GOP managed to hang onto their majority in 2024 even though Democrats widely outraised them, so the fact that they’re outraising us right now is alarming. The good news is that we have time to make up ground and overtake them. But we need to get started immediately.

Eight House Republicans in swing districts raised more than one million dollars in Q1, while only ONE Democrat in a swing district crossed the one million threshold.

To make matters worse, the NRCC’s list of at-risk Republicans have an average of $1.2 million in the bank, while DCCC frontline candidates average just $657,000.
