Friends,

We’re three weeks away from our first JStreetPAC Hometown Hero event of
the year and we couldn’t be more excited to spotlight one of the boldest
new advocates for our values and principles in Congress: Rep. Jennifer
McClellan.

Join us on Tuesday, May 6 at 6pm in Alexandria, VA for an inspiring
evening with a leader who is already making her mark as a J Street
champion. [ [link removed] ]RSVP here to receive the full address >>

We’re proud of Rep. McClellan’s continued leadership in calling for a
renewed ceasefire to bring the hostages home, expand humanitarian aid to
Gaza, and advance lasting security for both Israelis and Palestinians.
Your early support will help ensure she has the resources to keep fighting
for a pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy majority in 2026 – and
critically – to push back against the Trump Administration’s authoritarian
agenda.

This is your chance to help launch our Hometown Hero series with energy
and purpose, and to stand with a rising leader who’s all in for our
movement. Please see our original email below for more detailed event
information.

Best,

Allie Berg
Deputy Regional Director, DC, Maryland & Virginia, J Street

Hello Friends,

As violence resurges in Gaza and the Trump Administration continues down
its dangerous authoritarian path, the need for principled, pro-democracy
leadership in Congress has never been more urgent. We need leaders who
will defend our values both abroad and here at home.

That’s why I’m so excited to invite you to join JStreetPAC for our first
Hometown Hero event. The event will support Representative Jennifer
McClellan (VA-4), a bold advocate for diplomacy, human rights, and a
secure future for both the Israeli and Palestinian people.

Mark your calendars to support Congresswoman McClellan!
When: Tuesday, May 6 at 6pm ET
Where: [ [link removed] ]You’ll receive the Alexandria, VA Address when you RSVP here

Our Hometown Hero event series is kicking off our proactive effort to lift
our movement's champions now. Supporting Rep. McClellan in this off-year
is essential, not only to sustain her leadership but also to help lay the
groundwork for taking back the House in 2026.

Rep. McClellan has promoted progressive values ever since her first days
as a lawmaker in the Virginia legislature nearly 20 years ago and has been
a true J Street champion. She has consistently amplified our pro-Israel,
pro-peace, and pro-democracy principles. From signing on to key J
Street-backed legislation and letters raising concerns about rising
settler violence in the West Bank, to supporting the enforcement of
National Security Memorandum 20, which requires all recipient countries of
US military assistance – including Israel – to comply with international
humanitarian law, she’s been with us all the way.

I look forward to seeing you on May 6! If you can’t attend, please
consider [ [link removed] ]contributing to support Rep. McClellan’s important work in
Congress.

Thanks so much!

Best,

Allie Berg,
Deputy Regional Director, DC, Maryland & Virginia, J Street
