Today is our mid-month fundraising benchmark. Before I personally ask you to chip in $3 toward my re-election in this critical seat, I need to get you up to speed.

- Political experts at the Cook Political Report and Sabato’s Crystal Ball have named CA-27 as one of the most competitive 2026 races in the country. We’re dangerously close to becoming a toss-up race.

- National Republicans realize just how critical this seat is for the majority. Only 3 seats separate House control, and winning the majority is key to holding this administration accountable and stopping the destruction of our democracy.

- It’s why I’m already facing constant attacks from GOP super PACs and the NRCC. Remember: We faced over $15 MILLION in outside spending in the last election. It’s only a matter of time before we’re hit with millions more.

- I’m laser-focused on delivering for our communities in Congress – protecting Social Security and Medicare, fighting for reproductive rights and healthcare, putting CA-27 first, and standing against Trump’s corruption.

It also means I’m a lot less focused on fundraising for our re-election race. History shows it’s always been a challenge to re-elect a Democrat in this district – and with your help we will flip the script and ensure the GOP loses their House majority and grip on power.

But it starts now: Can I count on you to chip in $3 or any amount you can today to keep our strong momentum?
