Dear John, On April 22, 2025, the Supreme Court will hear Mahmoud v. Taylor—a pivotal case that challenges inclusive education in public schools. PFLAG National is co-hosting a major rally in front of the U.S. Supreme Court — and we hope you’ll join us there. The rally is led by The Coalition for Inclusive Schools & Communities in partnership with Live In Your Truth and The Montgomery County Pride Family. This case seeks to roll back efforts by Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) to ensure LGBTQ+ students and families are visible, respected, and affirmed in school curricula. It is part of a broader national effort to erode diversity, equity, and inclusion in public education. It is critical that we stand together to defend learning environments that uplift and empower ALL students. See event details below and make a plan to get to the Supreme Court on Tuesday! Date: Tuesday, April 22, 2025 Time: 8am-3pm Location: US Supreme Court, Washington DC Please register here and email [email protected] to be part of the PFLAG contingent. Together, we will make our message heard—clearly and powerfully! In solidarity, Patrick Patrick Cochran | Advocacy and Policy Engagement Manager | PFLAG National Pronouns: He/Him/His (Why is this here?) |
