Dear AFGE Activist,

We need every House member to support the Protect America's Workforce Act!

Take action to urge House members to cosponsor H.R. 2550, the “Protect America’s Workforce Act,” the bipartisan bill introduced by Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) and Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) to nullify President Trump’s March 27 executive order that illegally attempted to eliminate collective bargaining rights and union representation across the federal government.

Lawmakers are on recess through April 25 and this is our time to meet them in their local congressional offices and urge them to cosponsor this critical legislation. Click here to see if your representative has signed on as a cosponsor.

The only sure way to stop Trump's March 27 executive order is for Congress to pass H.R. 2550.

It is critically important that broad support for the bill be demonstrated among Members of Congress in both parties who support the right of working people to organize. Broad co-sponsorship of H.R. 2550 will send a powerful public message that President Trump's assault on the civil service is outrageous, unlawful, and not widely supported in Congress.

Take action NOW!

In Solidarity,

AFGE
