TAKE ACTION!

Friend, working people are holding the line. It’s time for Congress to join the fight.

The Trump administration’s ongoing assault on our freedoms, the rule of law, and the Constitution of the United States has reached crisis level as they continue to refuse a unanimous Supreme Court ruling to bring home Kilmar Abrego Garcia. Kilmar is a legal, permanent resident of the United States, who was wrongfully arrested, deported, and now detained in an El Salvador mega prison notorious for human rights violations.

Even as the government refuses to do the right thing, working people and their unions are leading efforts to bring Kilmar and other wrongfully disappeared union members and worker leaders home. Unions are mobilizing from coast-to-coast, organizing and holding actions, and joining lawsuits. The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA has even organized a boycott of Avelo–the airline working on behalf of the Trump administration to deport people like Kilmar to El Salvador.

SEND A MESSAGE

Now, we need Congress to join the fight in solidarity with workers everywhere. Senator Chris Van Hollen(MD) has requested a meeting with Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, demanding Abrego Garcia be returned home or the Senator will travel to El Salvador as early as next week. Congressman Maxwell Frost (FL10) has thrown his support behind Senator Van Hollen.

It’s time for all of Congress to step onto the frontline with workers. Use this tool to send a letter demanding your congresspeople stand on the frontline with workers and support Senator Van Hollen’s efforts to bring Kilmar home immediately!

In Solidarity & Gratitude,
