Hey Team,
This week, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg was questioned by the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) for HOURS about his company’s acquisition of Instagram and WhatsApp – monopoly deals that allowed Meta to crush competition and rake in massive profit [1]. The agency interrogated the Big Tech billionaire in court to hold his company accountable – and it could lead to the behemoth’s break-up.
The FTC is an independent agency. It’s supposed to work for the people. And we say it’s time to break up Big Tech. Add your name to demand that the trial continue.

Breaking up Meta would be a major step towards ending Big Tech’s monopoly over our information and marketplaces. But we know that Mark Zuckerberg has repeatedly met with Trump to convince him to throw out this case completely, [2] and the FTC chair said he’d comply with an order from Trump. [3]
The fight is long, but we must remind the FTC that they work for us. And we’re tired of Big Tech killing competitors, crushing small businesses and news publishers, surveilling and profiling consumers, and manipulating public discourse to undermine democracy. Add your name to urge the FTC to move forward with this case.
In solidarity,
