Earth Day Pledge
Dear John,
Earth Day is next Tuesday, and our planet’s freshwater—the lifeblood of all ecosystems—needs your help.
Will you join me and thousands of others in taking one simple action to protect our planet ([link removed])?
There are powerful solutions to our greatest environmental challenges, and you can play a crucial role. By pledging to Give an Hour for Earth, WWF’s positive action campaign, you’ll join a global movement proving that individual actions can lead to big change when we move together.
This year, we’re highlighting ways to protect Earth’s precious freshwater systems—the rivers, lakes, and streams that sustain all life. Pledge to give an hour for Earth by choosing one of these high-impact activities ([link removed]):
Track your water usage for a day. Come up with a plan and commit to one way to use less water in your daily life.
Explore your local waterways. Observe the biodiversity that thrives in and around the water and note how the area supports your community.
Evaluate the “water footprint” of the food you eat. Identify ways to make changes in my diet to conserve water.
Or choose another way to do something positive for the planet—and the water on which life depends.
I'll take the pledge ► ([link removed])
We’ve set an ambitious goal of 125,000 hours by Earth Day—and we’re already 60% of the way there! You can help us reach the finish line. Take the pledge and show the world how our collective actions can positively impact the planet ([link removed]).
Your commitment to giving just one hour for Earth can lead to significant change and inspire others to do the same. Together, we can create a healthier and more sustainable planet.
Sincerely,
Sara
