Friends,
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nick Kristof has just returned from
Israel and the West Bank, penning a series of blistering New York Times
columns on the brutal impact of war on civilians, the failures of Israeli,
Palestinian and American leaders, and the moral depravity of allowing this
situation to continue.
On Thursday, he’ll join me to discuss his take on where we find ourselves
now, the disastrous dynamic that’s taken hold between President Trump and
Prime Minister Netanyahu, and what we can collectively do about it.

columnist Nick Kristof
Nick understands the situation on the ground right now as well as any
American journalist.
He sat down with former Prime Minister Ehud Barak to discuss Netanyahu’s
moral and strategic failures. He spoke with Palestinian children whose
homes in the West Bank were demolished by Israeli authorities. And he’s
connected with humanitarian aid workers and doctors working in Gaza as
they battle the twin horrors of a brutal war and Netanyahu’s total,
ongoing blockade of all food, water and medicine.
We’ll also take some time to pivot to other parts of the world and the
impact of President Trump’s agenda. Nick’s reporting has been prominent in
debunking Elon Musk’s absurd claim that no one has died or been hurt since
the administration cut lifesaving USAID programs.
Nick’s first-hand reporting is undeniable: Mothers and newborns dying in
childbirth as birthing clinics shutter. HIV-positive children growing
weaker without access to life-saving medicine. Families starving without
US-supported soup kitchens.
When the atrocities of this moment feel beyond comprehension, Nick's
reporting brings us hard truths, gives voice to the voiceless and shows us
all that’s at stake. I look forward to sitting down with him this week,
and I hope you can join us. [ [link removed] ]Register here and come with questions >>
