With 2026 fast approaching, Michigan Republicans are deep in debt, disorganized, and struggling to function.

According to a recent interview, the new MIGOP Chair is running the party practically alone. He’s calling himself the all-in-one “CEO, janitor, and receptionist” all in one. The Michigan Republican Party has no fundraising operation, no communications team, no digital outreach, and is nearly $800,000 in debt.

This isn’t just chaos. It’s a critical opportunity for Michigan Democrats.

While Republicans are scrambling, Democrats are organizing. With your support, the Michigan Democratic Party is already laying the groundwork to win in 2026 so we can elect a new Democratic Governor, send a Democrat to the U.S. Senate, flip the State House, and protect our State Senate majority.

But we can’t take anything for granted.

If we want to keep this advantage and win big in 2026, we need to keep building right now. That means training organizers, investing in programs like Project 83, expanding voter outreach, and recruiting strong candidates across Michigan.
