Last week, the SAVE Act passed in the House of Representatives. Every single Republican who was present voted for it.

That means every House Republican voted in favor of a bill that could block 21 million American citizens from voting and make it harder to hold them accountable for their slash and burn policies at the ballot box.

Republicans say the SAVE Act would prevent non-citizens from registering, but that is already illegal. It's actually an attempt to trick lawmakers into making it harder for millions of eligible Americans to vote.

This certainly isn’t the first time they’ve done this, and they’re hoping they can slip one by us this time. Well, they’re wrong.

You already know just how bad the SAVE Act really is, but your friends and family might not.

The SAVE Act would require you to show up in person with your passport or birth certificate to register to vote or change your registration—documents 21 million Americans don’t have readily available. 69 million women don’t have a birth certificate that matches their married name, and 146 million Americans don’t have passports.
