Pelosi, Reverend Barber and Dolores Huerta.

Dear PFAW Member,

Especially during this current political climate, Congress should
proactively take steps to protect the health and safety of voters, because
nobody should have to choose between their health and their vote.

[ [link removed] ]Join Speaker Nancy Pelosi; voting rights leader Reverend Barber; civil
rights and labor icon, PFAW Board Member Dolores Huerta; Reverend Leslie
Watson Wilson, PFAW Director of African American Religious Affairs; and
representatives of voting rights and racial justice organizations to hear
about the need to provide funding to ensure we can vote safely during
COVID-19.

In preparation to mark 7 years since the Supreme Court ruling in Shelby
County vs. Holder, which allowed states to enact barriers to voting with
impunity, our virtual rally will include a discussion of these obstacles
and how they impact communities across this country, especially
communities of color.

Speakers will also discuss how activists can engage senators and urge them
to pass at least $3.6 billion in funding and the reforms in the HEROES Act
to implement programs and invest in resources that can protect voters and
our elections.

[ [link removed] ]RSVP to attend this digital rally now!>>

Our elections are too important for this to wait.

Thank you for your advocacy. Wishing you and your family health and
safety!

In community,

Charlie, PFAW
