Hi, it’s Congresswoman Sarah McBride.
I have the honor of representing Delaware in the House of Representatives, but today I’m reaching out to you in regard to our neighbors to the north — it’s about my colleague and friend, Mikie Sherrill.
When I think about our future as Democrats, I think about fearless and effective leaders like Mikie.
Mikie has spent her career in service to this nation — as a Navy helicopter pilot, a federal prosecutor, and now a member of Congress. She has a proven ability to build broad coalitions and deliver for New Jerseyans. I’ve watched her do it in the United States Congress, and I know she’ll do the same as governor.
As Republicans obsess over culture war issues and ignore the crises Americans face, we need leaders like Mikie who fight relentlessly to drive down costs and make life better for the people she serves.
