Dear Friends and Comrades!

Please join us at the FIRST annual Chattanooga Labor Day Parade and Pinic.  This event is being organized by the Chattanooga Area Labor Council, and most local unions and workers' organizations will be present.  This makes it essential that we, as socialists, show our strength and engage our fellow workers on the issues that mean the most to us.

We'll be assembling at 9:00 AM on the MLK side of Miller Park.  Please, wear a red DSA shirt, if you have one, and if you don't have one, we'll have one for you when you get there.  It's key that we look unified and march as a block.  If you're interested in helping to create banners and signage, volunteers will be gathering on 25 August at 10 AM. All of our working groups: labor, M4A, Education, and Bernie will be tabling and connecting with our fellow workers.  This is a huge opportunity to show our support for workers and to further our various campaigns.  Please join us as we celebrate labor and take a big step in organizing the Chattanooga working class.

P.S. Just a quick note for the Bernie folks: the DSA national launch of the Benie IEC is the second weekend in September, so keep your eyes out for an event for that!
