Hey, team! Here are three lessons we learned from Democrats’ strong showing in recent elections, and how we’re applying those lessons to our quest to take back the Senate.

1) This is not a fluke.

Democrats have overperformed 2024 margins in nearly every special election this year, from deep-red Florida to Iowa to Pennsylvania.

Just since January, we’ve:

• Flipped control of two state Senate seats in Iowa and Pennsylvania
• Halved the 2024 margins for Florida’s special House races
• Won Wisconsin’s critical state Supreme Court race by a resounding 10 points

2) Money hasn’t slowed our momentum.

Elon Musk and his allies dumped $20 MILLION into Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race. They still failed to dampen Democratic momentum on the ground.

Special and off-year elections are a turnout game, and Democratic voters are playing to win.

3) Public support for Trump is on the decline.

Trump reached his electoral peak last November. Since then, GOP turnout has been lackluster, even in races where Trump’s made endorsements.

It’s a clear sign that swing voters are souring on his failed administration. With every harmful, dangerous decision Trump makes, that enthusiasm gap will continue to grow.

The early signs are positive, team. Now, for the hard part: keeping up this energy long enough to win back the U.S. Senate.
