Our city spends $6 Billion each year on the NYPD. That’s more than we spend on than housing, youth, homeless and health agencies combined. Meanwhile, over 1 million tenants in New York can't pay rent. 92,000 New Yorkers are homeless.

We need to protect people, not property. We need leaders who will invest in our communities -- in our schools, in affordable housing, in services that strengthen and support us. We need real alternatives to violent police.
