Speaker Johnson and House Republicans cracked down on activist judges this week, passing the No Rogue Rulings Act on Wednesday. This bill prevents federal district court judges from issuing unconstitutional, nationwide injunctions. Over the last 25 years, rogue judges have issued over two-thirds of all injunctions against President Trump, more than any President in American history.

Although the overwhelming majority of Americans believe in providing proof of citizenship to vote, 208 House Democrats voted against the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act, which ensures only Americans decide American elections. HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WEEK

In appreciation of his support for the placement of Billy Graham’s statue in the U.S. Capitol last year, the North Carolina General Assembly gifted Speaker Johnson with a miniature replica of the late reverend’s statue. Representatives from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, the North Carolina Statuary Hall Selection Committee, and the state’s official sculptor presented him with the statue.

On Wednesday, Speaker Johnson visited with Caddo Magnet High School senior Maya Trutschl, this year's Congressional App Challenge winner for Louisiana's Fourth Congressional District.
