A Bold New Era: Brent Morden Assumes Club Vice Presidency

The New York Young Republican Club is proud to announce that Brent A. Morden has been unanimously approved as our next Vice President after being nominated to the role by President Stefano Forte.

Since joining the New York Young Republican Club in 2021, Vice President Brent Morden has played key roles in the Club’s most pivotal events, from President Trump's Madison Square Garden Rally to the Club's 2023 and 2024 Annual Galas. He has also been instrumental in its broader growth and community outreach.

In September 2023, Morden chartered the NYYRC Arts Caucus and served as its first Chairman. Under his leadership, the Arts Caucus has grown into one of the Club's most active caucuses and has cemented the NYYRC as a thought leader in advancing Republican causes in the arts and culture.

Morden joined the NYYRC Board of Governors in January 2024 as Gala Chairman following his support of the NYYRC's 111th Annual Gala with President Donald J. Trump. Morden managed the production of the NYYRC's 112th Annual Gala, the Club's largest and most significant event to date, which welcomed over 1,100 guests and international press to a historic black-tie event at Cipriani Wall Street headlined by Stephen Bannon and Nigel Farage.

In recognition of his wide-ranging efforts as an exemplary Young Republican, in 2024, Morden was honored as a New York State Young Republican Rising Star and received a Certificate of Merit from the New York State Assembly.

A native of Bayside, Queens, Morden graduated magna cum laude from Columbia University in 2019. In his professional life, Morden works as a conductor, music director, composer, educator, vocalist, and nonprofit program manager. Morden has conducted his award-winning music at Carnegie Hall and Off-Broadway, and remains an in-demand musical leader known for his professionalism and versatile talents.

Morden has succeeded in every leadership role he has taken on for the Club, and we look forward to seeing him flourish in this new role.
