We’re only a few months into the new administration, but it’s clear Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans want to bring their cruel and lawless agenda to Philadelphia.
But here’s my pledge to you and to the city that I love: Not on my watch.
The Trump administration wants to make an example of our city by attacking our diversity, illegally detaining immigrants, and reviving blatant racial discrimination.
But I know that engaging in hate and intimidation is illegal — and I’ll stand up to Donald Trump to protect immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, and Philadelphians of all races, no matter what.
Listen: My opponent is nothing more than a prop for Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and MAGA Republicans in Pennsylvania who want to punish Philadelphia.
That’s why they’re funding his campaign — because they want a puppet rather than a real leader.
But at a time like this, when our city and our people are under threat from an out-of-control Trump administration, we need strong Democrats to stand up against threats to democracy, immigrants, and civil rights.
And in this race, I’m the only one willing to stand up and fight back against Trump to protect Philadelphians.
